'We Are The People in the Forest’
Imaginative activism for all!
at: The Bath Assembly Rooms
On: Wed 17th May (12-3pm and 4-5pm).
The main purpose of this event was to nurture cross-community dialogue, reimagining the possibilities for co-creating hopeful futures for people of Bath & surrounds. We provided a space for co-creating imaginative solutions to the ecological emergency, and raised awareness for the importance of our collective imagination and our connection to nature.
With a diverse range of attendees, from decision-makers, academics, imagination activists, and importantly, interested members of the local community in and around Bath, we explored issues such as access to nature, creative thinking about environmental challenges, sustainability, and the need for developing co-creative strategies and hope for our future together. The FlourishCafe event fed into a larger event ‘Assemble in the Forest’ event hosted by Forest of Imagination. The Assemble in the Forest event included a wonderful bespoke design art installation (created by Morag Myerscough) inspiring hope through birdsong.
